This is our second post on flowers of the month. This month, I’m covering my favorite June blooms. Of course, some of these flowers are available longer than just June. These are just a few of the flowers that I’m seeing this month. Some of these flowers might be hard to find in your area; I’ve tried my best to note that.

Hi Nancy! I see you’ve got a picture of some lovely blue hydrangea there. I love them, and hope to have them as my “main” flower at my wedding. I’ve noticed, however, that there seem to be several different varieties of blue hydrangea, ranging from light blue, blue/green, dark blue, to a purple-ish blue. I really want to avoid the type that has a purple hue in it. What can I tell my florist that will help them avoid ordering or receiving the blue hydrangea with purple hue to it?
