The spot I’d like to visit the most is the Route of the Tour de France–including Pyrenees since that’s an important part of the Tour. Of course the Tour route also includes Paris, so that would another key place. We’re triathletes (more or less) and love to watch cycling.

We’d also visit the drôme again (a small neighboring region to provence). Montélimar, a city in this region, makes the best nougat!

I was a French major in college, and I’ve been to France a few times, but I’ve never been to the Cote d’Azur. Ah, Nice…

Over my bed I have a poster of a barefoot woman in an old-school bathing suit, hands raised to the sun, smiling happily. It says, “Le soleil toute l’annee sur le cote d’Azur”

I think we’ll just need to move there…

even though we lived in london for 2 years, my fiance and i never got to go to paris together… so I would LOVE to go with him… but also, I would love to do the south of france! We could start in marseille & go to toulon, cannes & nice- perfection!

My favorite place in France is Fayence, a tiny village in Provence between Nice and Cannes. However, it would be the best surprise ever if I could spring a trip to a leg of the Tour de France for my SO. He’s really into biking and I have picked it up as well

That’s an easy answer for me because we ARE going to France for our honeymoon!!! Definitely am excited to travel throughout the country but am extremely psyched for the French Riviera and could desperately use a book like this to help plan!!!

This is where we’re taking our honeymoon! I’ve spent time in Paris but the Mr. hasn’t, so we’ll probably make a quick weekend stop there and continue on to the Riviera, Marseille and Cannes.

I would LOVE to visit Nice! My fiance and I were engaged in Paris last summer at La Tour Eiffel and it would be amazing to return to France, but I was working while there in Limoges (the foie grois capitol of the world… aka beautiful but tres rural) so I never got a chance travel anywhere else! Je voudrais aller au Nice! S’il vous plait!!

I’m with Miss Bear Cub on Carcassonne. I studied abroad in Nimes for two months in college and I regret not getting on a train and going! Either that, or maybe Strasbourg, just for something totally different.

We are planning a honeymoon in France next May. We want to go to the French Open in Paris, relax on the beach in Corsica, and drive through Provence and up to Lyon. I’d LOVE to visit Marseille from some bouillabaise and drive through the lavender and sunflower fields en route to wine tasting in the Rhone

My fiance and I are getting married in late July and he has surprised me with a honeymoon in the Provence and Rhone! I don’t know exactly where we’ll be going but I have heard so much about Avignon and Orange, not to mention the fact that there are some of the most amazing, family-owned & operated vineyards in the area too! I am looking forward to see the Palace of the Popes in Avignon, and hopefully some other great things that this book will help us find!
