King and Queen of Hearts Stamps

June 9th, 2009 @ 2:57 pm by Mrs. Bee

Since brides are always looking for cute stamps for their invitations and save the dates, I thought I’d share an invitation I received the other day that had these adorable King and Queen of Hearts stamps on it.

I’ve been using these fun Simpsons stamps on all my correspondence lately, but I love these King and Queen of Heart stamps best for wedding themed correspondence.

Are you putting a ridiculous amount of thought into the little details like stamps?  Don’t worry — we’ve all been there! :)

Yes! We obsessed and then went with the cakes and the rings — predictable :)

I’m not 100% sure which stamps we’ll use yet, but I’ve looked a few times at this set!

Those are so great! Hopefully they are still around when we send out our SaveTheDates & Invites. The FI & his 2 brothers all have a variation of the 3 of hearts (playing card) tattoo. His dad has the king of hearts and mom queen of hearts tattoo. It’s a play on words on their last name. =P It’ll be a cute recognition of them!

For the invites, I fell into a vintage stamp hole, thanks in large part to Miss Cowboy Boot. But I love these and will use them for the rehearsal dinner!

Cute calligraphy! I obsessed about stamps for a month or two, and couldn’t afford custom stamps in the end. Looking back I’m glad I didn’t spend the money on them and should’ve spent my energy on something else. We used the Sinatra’s for our response cards and they were fun enough for us. :)

We’re (and I mean I) am planning on using those for the invites. The colors are perfect, and what is better than the King and Queen of hearts?

FI wants the cake stamps, but THESE are sooooo much cooler.

Wow, I’m actually considering going to battle over stamps - look how crazy wedding planning has made me!

We have sort of a playing card theme (our save the dates were fake bicycle back playing cards) so I nearly died when I saw these! I bought a ton to use for all our wedding related mailings!

I just sent out my invitations and I used those stamps. I needed 81 cents (2 ounce square envelope) but I figured that spending 7 cents extra on each of 100 envelopes really wasn’t a big deal. So many people commented on how cute the stamps were. Who needs Zazzle when the USPS has great stamps!

Yes, they ARE adorable! I didn’t have the money in my budget for custom stamps, nor the time to hunt down vintage stamps. So I was pleasantly surprised to find these when I went to the post office. Their color palette is fantastic!! :-)

Did you guys go to the post office to buy the stamps or order from USPS website and get them delivered? My post office always has a horrible line and I don’t want to get to the front of the line and then be told they don’t have any king and queen of heart stamps!
