The Bachelor Party

June 13th, 2009 @ 6:55 pm by Mrs. Mascara

This weekend my fiance will be painting the town of Milwaukee red, or whatever color it is that men paint a town… blue, perhaps? Either way, he and his boys will be having a blast! He says he’ll take pictures, so maybe we’ll have a full report next week! Now that I think about it, maybe not the full report. A partial one could be fun, though.

The party should be pretty crazy.

Buses rented starting at 9AM, brewery tours, tailgates, and baseball games are all involved. Also, the chocolate chip cookies that I baked will make an appearance. Oh yeah, and I can’t forget the beer and Jack Daniel’s. I’m not sure how most brides feel about their fiance’s bachelor parties, but I’m so excited for him! He has been so tolerant of all the wedding hoopla lately, he deserves a night out with friends!

While he’s gone, I am (sort of) looking forward to getting some things checked off our list. Namely, finishing the rest of our table runners. The bachelor party sounds so much more appealing.

How did you feel about your fiance’s bachelor party? Were you excited for him, or worried?

I think I’ll be excited! Because the one piece of info I’ve been able to get out of Mr. Bruschetta is that his bachelor party will be the same night as my bachelorette party!

Aw, that sounds like a BLAST! I was so excited for my FI’s bachelor party. I was hoping he’d have some wild and crazy story for me in the morning, but alas, they went to Dave and Busters, had steak, and played games and drank all night. Came home at 1230am and woke up without a hangover! I was kinda shocked at how tame it was, lol. But hey, he had fun!

I trusted him completely-just not his pals! There was a bit-oh-trouble with some goings on at his bro’s bachelor party about six month prior. Everyone was behaved though! They had a great time and he had a wonderful night!!

I’m excited for my FI, he deserves a fun night, just like I do :) He will be going to a strip club (I don’t care :)), so I know he will have plenty of funny stories to tell me! Plus all his friends are talking about wearing orange & blue suits like from Dumb and Dumber to the party! Love it!!

I guess I’m a little torn on whether to be excited or worried for my FI. I know there will be strippers at his party. I trust him, but his friends are a bit sketchy. I just hope I know him enough not to get “egged” on by his buddies to do anything stupid. And I guess a little of my apprehension is due to the fact that my FI won’t tell me anything about previous bachelor parties he’s attended. Keeps telling me that he can’t reveal any details of someone else’s party…

I am excited for the Mister. He is planning a weekend trip to his family’s cabin. He just sent out an email to all the guys telling them about his woodsman’s challenge where he plans on being the sole judge in a slew of competitions including fishing, club making, knife throwing and the “modern woodsman’s” game of horse shoes! :) I am more excited for his weekend than mine!
