Midnight Crafting

June 15th, 2009 @ 10:58 am by Mrs. Bunny

Bad Bunny! I should have been working on my makeup tip post for you tonight. Instead, I procrastinated by doing wedding crafts …

Somehow, I don’t feel very guilty about that. Sorry, guys. There’s not much time left!

These were easy to make and could have been even cooler if I’d cared a little more. But heck, they’re $1 Frisbees from Michaels that I picked up on a whim one afternoon.

Monogram + Avery full-sheet labels + ink jet printer = personalized Frisbees for our active friends to play Ultimate with at the reception. I have a feeling my cousin Anna, who is also a bridesmaid, will wear shorts under her dress so she can join in.

Simple crafts are good and give me that peaceful sense of accomplishment. This is probably the easiest and quickest project I’ve done so far.

What was your easiest project? Please link to your tutorial, if you have one. Since I’ve conquered poms and custom Frisbees, I’d like to stay on a roll!

Makeup tips soon, I promise.

horray for ultimate! I might have to make some of these too–they’ll be a bunch of ultimate players at our reception too!

awesome! I love ultimate! Are the frisbees the right size?
I think playing frisbee at a wedding is such a wonderful way to include everyone! :)

Sweet idea! can i borrow it? hehe. My fiance is already using our wedding logo to make a vinyl decal for my VW. But I love being able to use it for other fun items!

AWESOME. I’d want to wear shorts under my WEDDING DRESS for these. ;)

what a great idea!

so far, besides the tissue poms, my easiest craft was the sash for a friend’s bachelorette party [it was the second time i made it]: http://is.gd/12Axb

virtually no sewing!

Miss Bear Cub, technically the discs are supposed to be 175g (Discraft or Whammo brands). We had discraft at ours, but they are super expensive ($6-10 each, depending on how many you buy). But for us, it had to be regulation size. :)

The easiest DIY wedding craft I have tackled was the lovely paper flower tutorial Miss Stiletto posted on June 9th. It was a little pricey for me as I didn’t have a puncher or brads. But, I love them, so I am using them to hold the ribbon that holds all of my wedding invitations together. It takes virtually no time at all, and the best part is, it’s so easy the Mr can help out.
