It was getting late in the evening and although we kept trying to prolong the inevitable, I knew I needed to head back to the hotel and make an attempt at getting a good night’s sleep. I had to keep reminding myself that the evening’s festivities were the pre-game and we still had the big show ahead of us the next day.
Mr. L and I looked around one last time, taking in the faces of our friends and family and did our best to take it all in one last time.

Once we felt we had sufficiently burned the images of the fiesta into our little minds we packed it up and called it a night. We all found our way back to the hotel and while some of our more hardcore guests hit up the bar for mas martinis, I knew it was wiser for me to head upstairs and attempt to hit the hay.

The mister and I said one last goodnight, knowing we wouldn’t be seeing each other again until 5:30 sharp the next afternoon. A few more hugs and cheerful goodnights and I was in the elevator, on my way up to the nineteenth floor, ready to spend my last night as a single lady all by myself.
Isn’t Jenna Cole fantastic?! All the pretty photographs are credit to her.
