Whenever I have to buy something, I always check 2 sites to see if there are any good deals going around that I should know about. The first one is Slickdeals, and the second is Bargainist. Slickdeals is a place where savvy shoppers post coupon codes and other great steals they found online or got sent in emails. Sometimes things are free, but most of the time they are just dirt cheap.
Today I found out Aldo was have a clearance sale that you need a code to get into. If you enter their site via this link, you get prompted for an access code. If you enter 5489548, you get access to the clearance deals. If you enter the code 22040422, you get 10% off your clearance purchase, and shipping is free. I just picked up this super cute clutch for the wedding. I got it for $14.69 total, including tax and shipping. Score!
Bargainist is just a nice place to see all the published deals official stores/sellers are advertising.
The one I really like today is free admission to National Parks on select weekends this summer. If you live close to a national park and have people in town on one of the listed weekends, why not suggest a free visit? They also list a site that lists free attractions by state. What a perfect way to fill the suggested activities page on your wedding website.

Great deal on a cute clutch! I am a huge fan of slickdeals and bargainist as well. They keep me up to date on the best deals. I also saw the free admission to a national park deal, but my state isn’t listed =(.
It’s not as fabulous as these, but I check http://www.woot.com every day for some good deal.

OMG!! Thank you for the tips and codes!! Just went on Aldo’s clearance section and found both my wedding shoes (for $37.98!) and shoes for the rehersal dinner… Is it bad that I bought rehersal dinner shoes and I don’t even have a dress yet?! lol They were too cute to pass up at $19.98! Thanks again!!
