Eco-Friendly Gift Bags

June 24th, 2009 @ 5:55 pm by Mrs. Beagle

This past weekend I attended a bridal shower. Before heading to the festivities, I stopped by my favorite store to pick up some gift bags. I had your run of the mill, shiny, paper gift bags in my basket when I saw these:

Of course I ditched the other bags and promptly acquired these two cute, eco-friendly, reusable, hemp bags.

They are so adorable that I think could also double a small handbag if you don’t want to re-gift them. The other bonus? They were only twice as much as the paper gift bags… worth the extra $1.50 in my opinion. I was so excited to find these, I knew I must share my find with the hive. (Oh, and that soy candle is from the same place as the bags, in case you’re wondering. And, yes, it smells delicious!)

Are you incorporating any eco-friendly items into your planning? Please share!

I used those for the gift bags for hostess gifts for a shower….and one of the girls is using it as her lunch bag now. I think they are super cute and like you it was a spur of the moment change from regular bags when I saw them.

I was given one at a bachelorette party and I use it all the time - love the idea of incorporating eco-friendly products

Those are really great looking! I’ve been keeping my eye out for good looking re-usable bags, these will do great!
I couldn’t find them on Target.com though. Would you mind sharing the name? Thanks!

I bought those SAME bags to put my BM gifts in! I was standing in the gift bag aisle when they caught my eye. The girls were as excited about the bags as they were about their earrings! I know my sister uses her to take lunch to work. Very stylish AND eco-friendly.

Just tried to look for them on Target’s website. No such luck. Let me know if any finds the link. I rather order them online and drive all the way to target. [No target near by =(]
