About Mrs. Deviled Egg

Where I last left off, the girls and I were leaving the Matrix because we learned that there was karaoke going on at another club in Station Square. Dancing was fun, but the place was getting crowded and we were all ready to move on.

We ended up at the Green Room, a venue that usually houses comedians and open-mic nights. We quickly snatched up some song books and put in our requests.

While waiting, a girl got up on stage and noticed I was in my bachelorette garb. She called me up on stage with her, and I obliged. Little did I know, the next five minutes would be the worst, most awkward five minutes of the evening. If I could erase anything from the evening, what happened next would be it.

Disclaimer: While this post doesn’t contain as many questionable pictures as Pt. 1, please note that the following photos may not be suitable for viewing while at work.

She asked me some questions about who I was and when I was getting married. Then, she grabbed a chair and told me to sit down. Of course, this girl had to be a stripper and she proceeded to work some of her best moves on me. (While keeping her clothes on, of course!)

I found this funny for about a 10 seconds and then I got a little upset when she took my boa off of me. :-(

Then, out of nowhere, a guy ran up on stage and started to dance over me. I really have no clue who he was, where he came from, or where he went when he was finished. It all happened so fast.

Stripper girl and dancing boy then started to put on a show together in front of me. You can probably tell from this picture that I was losing interest fast and just wanted it all to stop.

Eventually, it did and I got off the stage. I was a little confused, but my group thought the whole thing was pretty funny. Umm… I didn’t really think so, but I tried to be a good sport about it.

Soon afterwards, we started to get our turn in the karaoke rotation. I was called up first and did my karaoke standby—Evanescence’s Call Me When You’re Sober.

My sisters each took a turn, too.

Jess sang Killing Me Softly

Jen rocked out to Fat Bottom Girls

And Kelly did her rendition of My Girl

As each of us took turns singing, the rest of us sang along in our seats.

I got word from Mr. DE that his bachelor party was winding down. The girls and I were starting to poop out ourselves, so we called it a night.

Overall, it was lots of fun. I’m glad that I got to share a fun evening with everyone before the craziness of the wedding week. It was nice to just forget about wedding planning for a few hours and just have a good time.

What was the best part of your bachelorette party? (Or, what are you looking forward to most?)

The karaoke looks like fun! Stripper dance? Not so much–i feel your pain! I would’ve died of embarrassment.

Haha, I love how into it HE was while you’re sitting there looking borderline horrified! May have been awkward in the moment, but I’m sure it makes for some good laughs now!

I agree with Miss Mouse I would have wanted to die of embarassment. I did not get a girls night out. :( I would have loved hanging out with my girls. My sister and I plan to do a spa day sometime in the near future.
