When Mr. Joey’s Away (Part 3)…

June 24th, 2009 @ 11:16 am by Mrs. Joey

… Ms. Joey will figure out what MOH Joey’s bouquet will look like.

I’m thinking something like this…

Yes, I’m thinking baby’s breath. It’s simple, clean, and has sort of the modern/vintage feel we’re going for. We’re already thinking of using it in a few of our centerpieces, so why not tie things together and use them in our ceremony, too? Plus, they are light on the pocketbook, and you can’t argue with that.

I think they will complement my Billy Button bouquet nicely.

Anyone else thinking of making a filler flower the star of a bouquet or centerpiece?

I think this is a great way to be stylish and save money! I love it when this is done with carnations, for example.

I loved the look of the baby’s breath bouquet. I almost used stock for my bridesmaids bouquet but went with hydrangea instead. I think it will look good with your bouquet too.

I love baby’s breath bouquets. There is just something about it. I never would’ve guessed it would be so lovely without seeing pictures of it. But wow!

Yes, actually! Baby’s Breath matches our colors better than any other flower I’ve found, and I’m planning on making all of the bridesmaids’ and MOH’s bouquet out of it and using it as a major portion of mine, too (we might use Green Tea roses in my bouquet also, because I love them so much. ;)

I was this close to using a baby’s breath bouquet but found an online seller who made beautiful artificial bouquets - mostly from lace and fabric - that I decided I wanted instead. Baby’s breath is beautiful!

Carnations, what what! My bouquet had one ivory hydrangea in the middle with tightly packed assorted pink carnations all around and I tell you, it was the most beautiful thing eva! Also–This post made me think of Miss Gloss’s old post in lamentation of baby’s breath! But even she changed her mind upon seeing the right inspiration pic.

Yup! I’m doing all baby’s breath for sure for all my bridesmaid. Not sure on my own but I really love the look of all baby’s breath!
