Hand Candy on the Cheap

June 29th, 2009 @ 1:06 pm by Mrs. Mouse

Have you seen Paloma Picasso’s jewelry that she designs for Tiffany and Co.? It’s all very colorful and fun, with semi-precious stones and yellow gold. I especially love these things called Sugar Stacks. They come in pretty, bright colors and two different sizes. They’d be a funky, bright addition to any wedding-day wardrobe!

Hand Candy on the Cheap : wedding jewelry Tiffany I just want to eat these!

I love ’em, but at $550 to $1700, they’re a tad out of my price range. I was thinking about buying just one with my income tax refund check, but then I found this:

These are from a website called Overstock Silver.com. They have a whole line of Tiffany-inspired jewelry for a fraction of the price. True, these rings aren’t exactly the same as Paloma’s (they’re made with cubic zirconia and plated with 14 carat gold), but they’re still adorable. And, the best part? They range from $28 to $42.99. Now I can afford a whole fingerful of them!

What are your sources for jewelry web bargains?

I, too, want to eat those rings. I never loved them because the price put me off so much, but I ADORE the knockoffs at under $100 for a handful. Lovely!

I love Overstock.com’s jewelry section - really reasonable and pretty unique too - it’s where my faux engagement ring came from.

I ordered all of the Tiffany style sugar stack rings from Overstock Silver. I ordered all of them at the same time to see which ones I liked the best, and planned on returning the ones I did not care for. Not one was returned :)

I just called they’re 800 number and a very nice lady informed me that they would be carrying more sugar stack styled products in the very near future! Can’t wait!!
