Something shocking happened the other day. Mr. Powder Puff asked for my help picking a first dance song.
As some of you may or may not remember, the mister was completely gung ho about picking our first dance as a surprise for me. But apparently the pressure got to the poor man. After my mother called to let him know that the DJ needed to know our first dance, he shut himself into our second bedroom for a couple of hours, only to emerge a little while later and sheepishly ask, “Will you help me pick a song? I can’t decide!”
Poor guy.
After a scroll through my iTunes, we decided on this little beauty:

We had a really hard time with this too! Last night we finally settled on a song (and practiced dancing to it!)
We picked Nina Simone’s “My baby just cares for me”.
I love Gavin Degraw…. such a nice song.
Oh and we chose, OUR song…. so it wasnt hard.

I love this song! I saw Gavin DeGraw when he first came on the scene and it was a great concert.
I’ve picked out most of our music (in terms of first dance, ceremony music, etc.) but I’ve run everything by him. =) We’ve both picked about half of the playlist for our reception.

This was my first dance song! I had the band cut out the first part where he talks about the girl going out with someone else . . . it was PERFECT!!!
I come up with TONS of ideas- music is my obsession item- but I wont choose anything unless the Mr. approves.
