Weddingbee is officially on Twitter! Follow us @weddingbee for up-to-the-moment updates on all things Weddingbee.

We’re still getting used to the wide world of Twitter (I don’t have a personal account and Mrs. Bee just recently joined up!). So, what should we tweet? Bees’ wedding days? The best posts of the day? Let us know what you’d like to see us tweet about in the comments!

I’ve been following for a few days! I like it! I think tweet the interesting or popular posts - like “Mrs so and so is back with her first recap!” or “say goodbye to MISS Latte” like you had the other day.

I actually had subscribed to “weddingbee” about a month ago, but it was someone who I didn’t recognize (and they mentioned nothing about weddingbee!). Glad that weddingbee is on twitter now, and you’ve done a fabulous job so far.

Yeah Twitter!

I’d suggest having the posts of the day auto-feed into the twitter account, for starters. And perhaps you could throw some of the hot topics on the board up there to bring more people in on the discussion.

I’d also set up a search for weddingbee and all variations of the name like this: http://search.twitter.com/search?q=weddingbee

That way if people are talking about you (even if you don’t know them) you can say hi and thank them for your input and grow your circle of followers. Yes, I’m a total social media/SEO geek, haha.

@JeanL1984: Hm, maybe it’s just me, but it drives me nuts when blogs that I read auto-feed their posts into twitter, it makes me not want to follow them. Since I already read the blog, I don’t need the updates clogging my Twitter feed, too. Weddingbee updates a lot.

I do like the personalized blog notice updates though, (”Miss Mascara’s entire DIY invitation suite debut! http://bit.ly/OvQkz DIY is always so gratifying when it’s all done!”), those are cute!

@HistoryBride: We update weddingbee over 20 times a day, so we definitely don’t tweet every update, but I do take the time to tweet posts we find really interesting! I usually tweet about 2-3 weddingbee posts a day.
