About Mrs. French Bulldog

“You see how picky I am about my shoes and they only go on me feet.” - Cher, Clueless

Like many brides before me (and I’m sure many brides after me), I cannot make up my mind when it comes to my shoes. Two weeks ago I showed you all these lovelies and I was determined to make them mine.

Source

That was until I saw the shoes of this lovely bride—my friend, Alisa.

She got a great pair of pumps from Hey Lady.

Twins (and friends of Alisa) Emily and Jessica Leung created a line of bridal shoes after their own search for wedding shoes. They wanted something that was non-dyeable and actually danceable! I couldn’t agree more. Now, if I could only agree with myself on which ones I should get.

I can’t decide between the “At Tiffany’s“…

or Princess Buttercup in turquoise…

The At Tiffany’s are more expensive, but I am more likely to wear them again, whereas the Princess Buttercups are a little less expensive, but I don’t know what I would wear them with again.

What would you do?

I LOVE Alisa’s shoes! I still think they’re expensive (my shoe budget is “only” two digits!) but they are pretty!!!!

I think the At Tiffany’s would be a perfect bride shoe b/c the detailing it at the front where your foot would peek out from under your dress. Wait, are you wearing a short dress? I still like those. The price difference isn’t that great. :-) Plus, rewearable shoes automatically win!!

I’m super glad you decided to not go with the Cole Hann! Although, i’m quite the Cole Hann fan…i’ve tried those darling shoes on and they are terrible Wedding Day shoes. The backs of the shoed kept falling down several times, and i only had those heartbreakers on for 5 minutes!

If it were you i would go with At Tiffany’s. Too Chic.

At Tiffany’s took my breath away and shoes don’t do that to me… so there’s my answer!

They’re both cute - I’m leaning towards the Princess Buttercup because of that adorable bow. But… if they’re not that far off in price from the Cole Hahn - get those, they’re just to die for!

@lala: I just heard back from Alisa and she said, “they were super comfy!!!” But she wishes she got gone a 1/2 size bigger like the website suggested.

WAIT. WAIT A MINUTE. They’re comfortable too?!?!?! My dream shoe?? Could it be???? I seriously love the shoes your friend Alisa wore, I can’t stop thinking about them. She wasn’t a size 9 was she? I want those shoes so bad. Time to start keeping my extra change in a “shoe fund” jar!

At Tiffany’s, At Tiffanys, At Tiffanys.

1 - They’re AMAAAAAAAAAZING
2 - You said you’d wear them again
3 - Your only reservation was that they were a bit more expensive

I could probably go on … but my vote is in.

The $60 price difference between the two styles is worth spending on a pair of shoes you love and would wear again! After all, you won’t regret that $60 down the road when you are wearing your cute blue shoes, but you COULD regret not getting the shoes you love. How is that for shoe-purchase justification?

On another note, I really love the Knotty Girl style! Seems like it would complement your Paigley very well!

OMG! I am going to go against the trend and vote for Princess Buttercup. And I love their whole collection! I was already being incredibly indecisive about my shoe choice, now I love Pucker Up and wil have another option to weigh… thanks a lot! :)
