Laura Taylor from The Darling Life Photography shared so many pictures with us from our engagement photo session. I wanted to share some of the outtakes. It is really fun to get to choose from SO MANY! I am lucky to have a generous photographer.
This is my favorite outtake - I love that I am handing him all of the “boy” balloons
How adorable is this little girl in the bottom left? She really wanted to balloons. We didn’t give them to her BUT on the way home we gave all of the balloons to a little boy, and he kept saying, “Mommy, just like Up, just like Up.” (The movie.) So cute.

I hope so - we were super late on the e-pic train and just had them taken this weekend, hopefully they will be up tonight!
We went to Disneyland and since we are not supposed to have a professional photographer there without their permission it was great fun. : ) People kept looking at us wondering if we were famous or something. I love our photos.

All of my fave pics of my mister and I are basically outtakes and candids. They capture such special spirit!
I love how you’re handing him all the “boy balloons”. We took some pics with pink and blue flowers, but all the shots made my brother think we were having a baby, so we ixnay’ed those!
I love the close up of you! So gorgeous! We never ended up getting engagement photos so I’m hoping on doing something for our 1 year anniversary. It looks like such a fun way to get closer and spend some time together.
I have a question about your pictures - did you need permits or anything to shoot in the city? My fiance and I want to take our engagement pics in NYC (we’re from Northern NJ, got engaged in Central Park and have a general love of the city). A friend of ours (a gifted amateur photog) offered to do our e-pics as a wedding gift, but mentioned that to shoot in some places, we’d need a permit. From reading the other bees’ blog posts about shooting e-pics in NYC, it doesn’t seem like getting permits has been an issue, but I was curious if you ran into any problems. Thanks!
@JennaF: We had absolutely no problems and we shot in Central Park, on the street, on the Highline Park. Have a BLAST!!!!
