My Fabulous Etsy Find

About a month before the wedding, I began a mad search for the perfect hair flower to wear at the reception. I am not sure why I waited so long. Oh yeah, I procrastinated. Anyway, my wedding hairstylist had previously warned me that fresh flowers might wilt. So, I jumped on good ol’ Etsy.com and tried my hand at finding a flower hair fascinator.

I knew exactly what I was looking for: something romantic, beautiful, whimsy, and (yes) affordable. My goal was to find something under $40. I got lucky and stumbled across the gorgeous creations of Aundrea and Erin. I was instantly sold!

Aundrea and Erin are beautiful and super sweet twin sisters from Kansas City, whose Etsy shop, MeadowBelleMarket, showcases their talents in creating jewelry, flowers, and accessories.

Aren’t their flowers dreamy? The last fascinator is the custom flower I wore at my wedding!!

Both Erin and Aundrea are complete gems to work with. They were so accommodating, professional, and nice! We exchanged a lot of messages in order to perfectly customize my flower. I was so pleased with the final result. Seriously, it was my most pleasant Etsy experience to date.

I really hope so. I think that combined with the veil on/or off(!) looks amazing and so romantic. How often does a girl get to wear a big flower in her hair or add a veil to it?!

I am wearing a 5inch bright pink tulle flower I found at Nordstrom’s…it has a few scattered clear sequins sew in. The subtle sparkle looks so pretty I am sewing more in to double the effect.

Thank you for posting this! I am resisting the thought of wearing a veil…I want something different and spunky…these are BEAUTIFUL…and I LOVE the one you chose! I’ve been looking high and low for a beautiful flower to pin in my hair…this has much promise!

Also, my experience with MeadowBelleMarket was such a positive one. I hope that our photographer got several pictures of me at the wedding with my hair fascinator! I definitely want to share them with all of you

I’m wearing flowers that I bought at the bridal store. I bought dragonfly clips for my daughter’s hair from an etsy seller though and they’re so cute!
