The Perfect Initial Necklace

July 16th, 2009 @ 5:41 pm by Mrs. Bee

I’ve been looking for the perfect initial necklace forever because my first name is, well, an initial.  While catching up on my blogs recently, I saw it on Oh Joy! and instantly knew that I had found the one.

(J&B are Mr. Bee and my initials.)

Each of these delicate initial, number, symbol and chains from Albeit are made of 14k gold.  It’s amazing how the unique positioning of the pendant gives such a different feel to the piece.  It’s definitely the most I’ve ever paid for a piece of jewelry, but I know that it will get tons of daily wear, and they’re offering 20% off through the end of July.

Perhaps a gift for your stylish maid of honor?  Or a gift to yourself with your new last name initial? ;)

For those who want to get an initial necklace at a lower price, I’ve always loved the Elsa Peretti ones from Tiffany’s …. and if that price is still too high, Evesaddiction.com basically has the same one in sterling silver for $30 some dollars. Good luck ladies!

Aren’t they wonderful? I saw those a few days ago and “hinted” to the Mr. that it would be a perfect belated wedding gift. My first name is really long and since I’m lazy I sign everything simply “C”. Most of my co-workers only know me as “C” because I use my full name so rarely. So I agree that it’s perfect! Now perhaps I’ll email the boy that discount code ;)

I really want to get my girls the gold “name” necklaces like Carrie has in SATC. We all LOVE that show, so I thought it would be appropriate and cute!

Oh wow, I love the necklaces but it’s a little rich for my blood. @Mrs. Bee: , will you post a photo with your new pretty necklace once you get it? @Miss Labrador: I love that show too :) I still watch my DVDs and the Movie over and over. Great idea for your girls :)

oh, too bad you can’t do 2 letters and a symbol. I’d get J&R … for my two daughters (although people in ny might think I really like electronics;-0)
