Today is Doctorgirl Appreciation Day!!

Doctorgirl is one of our wonderful hostesses.  A month ago, she mentioned that she was going to try and post 400 times in four weeks and make Honey Bee by her wedding (2500 posts!!)  Of course, I was nothing but supportive… haha maybe not.  This is what I told her:

If you hit 2500 comments by your wedding, I will shave my head!!!

ps I shave my head every day… so this offer is less valuable than it may sound.  But seriously, if you hit 2500 comments by your wedding… I will break my long time blogging fast to post on Weddingbee’s frontpage and declare your wedding day as Doctorgirl Appreciation Day!!

And wouldn’t you know it - Doctorgirl shattered her goal, and is now at over 2600 posts!  So Doctorgirl “wins”, and I have no choice but to declare today Doctorgirl Appreciation Day!

I think I would’ve “won” if Mr. Doctorgirl hadn’t been so wonderfully supportive of Doctorgirl.  He constantly monitored her post count and encouraged her to come up with new topics and posts for the boards.  Ugh… that’s totally unfair that she had so much support from her FI!

Well I guess that’s the point of marriage: to love and support each other.  So it’s only natural that today is not only Doctorgirl Appreciation Day, but Doctorgirl Marriage Day!

Doctorgirl - have a wonderful Appreciation Day!  Oh yah, and a wonderful wedding too!!
