Ball & Chain

July 22nd, 2009 @ 12:10 pm by Mrs. French Bulldog

Mr Frenchie and his dudes went to Palm Desert this past weekend for his bachelor party. I’ve heard bits and pieces of what they did, most of which involved staying out of the heat as much as possible. It was only 117!

This picture cracked me up and reminded me of a story I heard from Papa Frenchie’s bachelor party.

While Mr Frenchie only had to carry around a red cup, Papa Frenchie’s friends made him a cement ball attached to a chain for him to carry around all night! I’d say Mr Frenchie got off easy!

What crazy bachelor party stories have you heard?

My fiancee had his bachelor party this last weekend in Central Oregon. Apparently, someone thought it would be a good idea to light off fireworks in some caves they were exploring. One of them bounced off a cave wall and hit my fiancee in the face, just under the eye. He’s lucky he walked away without any injuries!

@kjpugs: Mr Frenchie’s Best Man got him a similar shirt that Mr Frenchie flat out refused to wear :) I asked him if he wanted me to write “High Score” on it in red sharpie.

My husband’s friend had to endure the ball and chain. His friends got an actual cannon ball and attached a chain to it and padlocked it to the bachelor’s foot. He even had to sleep with it on, they only took it off when they were going rafting.

Oh yeah, and there was a pregnant stripper at the same bachelor party. Pregnant like 6 months pregnant, not 3 months with a slight belly. For real. She wasn’t the main stripper for the night, but came with the other girl and apparently decided she could maybe make some money too.

I guess my husband lucked out, no ball and chain or pregnant strippers when it came time for his bachelor party.

The best man at our wedding was also the best man at my brothers wedding and several others. My hubby got off so easy! (Just a lot of drinking and bar hopping.) For my brother, they took him to Burbon street, and dressed him in an orange prison jumpsuit that said “Spank for beads”. He literally could not sit down at the reception his arse was soooo black and blue. At another wedding (same best man) they took him out drinking, and then stuck him on an airplane!! He ended up waking up in another city and then trying to figure out where his return ticket was!

For his bachelor party my fiance and some buddies went to play paintball before an evening of drinking and such. Apparently part of the deal at the place they went to play was that for the last 15 minutes of play the bachelor gets no gun and has to run the gauntlet while all the other guys shoot at him. He has some nice welts but no serious damage.
