Amazing! They seemed like they were having such a great time! I’d be way to nervous to actually have the guts to do this. Way fun though!

I wonder if this was pre or post February? It’s hard for me to listen to Chris Brown now.

I think that was horrible. It was corny, people couldn’t dance, bad 80s dresses, sunglasses and suits, horrible song and worst of all, it was really disrespectful to the church. That belongs at the reception!

That is the greatest thing ever. So amazing! I totally started to tear up when the groom came to meet her 1/2 way down the aisle.

LOVE IT! I wish that I could get away with that! So much more fun than a normal processional. I was hoping the bride would dance down the aisle too, so glad she did. :)

@Mrs. Bunny, I totally teared up, too! I’m glad I wasn’t the only one. I’m such a wedding cry-er, it’s ridiculous.

Anyways, this is the most fantastic wedding entrance I have ever seen! I love it!!

that is unbelievable! Who would’ve thought to bring a dance into the ceremony. I’m in awe. They looked like they were having SO much fun! An applauding audience doesn’t hurt either!

Cute! Seems like it’s very true to that couple’s personality!

And @disgusted-those are nice JCrew dresses-so the ‘ugly 80’s dresses’ seems out of place. Plus you have no idea what the personality of that church is. The one I went to as a kid was pretty funky/liberal. I don’t find it to be disrespectful at all. After all, it’s a wedding and a celebration of two people joining together. But I understand it’s not your thing.

I loved it - such an expression of joy (which is what you want when you are getting married) I thought it was great! I laughed and teared up too, just thinking how happy they must have been. I want to be friends with these people!

Very awesome and fun. Were they doing some of the dance moves from the end scene in Dirty Dancing?? I think so!

Re: appropriateness, it looks like the pastor/minister at the front of the church approved of the whole thing; she was smiling. Obviously, you couldn’t do something like this at the vast majority of churches — and I wouldn’t want this for myself, per se. But the expressions of love and joy are really evident on these folks’ faces. It’s really lovely.

Loved this! Me and my sister watched it and I sent it to FH to watch…we are totally going to do something crazy like this for our recessional! We are getting married at a botanical garden so no restrictions there…what a fun, open church to allow this!!!!

Cutest thing ever. I could see it working really well at an outdoor wedding. I know I could never get away with this in a church, but I’ll be keeping this in mind for our reception entrance.

LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so glad their church let them do it! I have to say - I was at a wedding and when the bride came out all the sudden “Bill, I love you so!” came blasting out and she was singing along and the audience was clapping - way memorable and fun! Mine will by necessity be more sedate and “traditional” to please his more conservative side of the family, but we’ll have fun at the reception! :D This was terrific, so fun, and I smiled and yep, tear-pricks too! Geez I’m getting sappy! LOL! :D
