Deciding on a photographer for our wedding was an easy decision. We only met with a handful of people, but as soon as we began talking to Jordana we knew she would be the one. I actually found out about her amazing photography skills here on the Weddingbee boards. Jordana also did this amazing shoot with Mrs. Meatball!

Our engagement photos are in, and we couldn’t be happier about how they turned out. They are exactly what we wanted. Our photographer is amazing. Seriously, spectacular! I was so nervous throughout the shoot that I could barely hold myself together, but I don’t think it shows (much). You can go see Jordana’s very nice blog about us with all of the pictures posted. We had our photo shoot on Valentine’s Day, which happened to be the only sunny, beautiful day all week. We definitely lucked out; the rain in the days before made everything lush and green (and wet and slippery on our hike, but it was worth it). Mr. S and I wanted to be somewhere woodsy (Jordana knew just the right spot), and somewhere a bit unusual and unique. Hollywood Forever Cemetery turned out to be perfect. We even saw two furry graveyard cats! My favorite.

We ended up using one of these photos for our save the date magnets, and we managed to get everything mailed out by the end of February. I also bought a few packages of Moo stickers to be used in various wedding projects.

*Please note that I am laughing in almost every single photo. I could not keep a straight face throughout the entire shoot. Even if it appears that I am smiling, I’m not. This is mid-laugh!
