About Mrs. Mary Jane

And it’s not… if you’re not 1) frugal and 2) picky. I have been all over the internet, looking for something to match the jewelry below:

Finding a Bracelet Shouldn't Be This Hard : wedding jewelry Myring

Finding a Bracelet Shouldn't Be This Hard : wedding jewelry Earring02

And here are my top contenders. I’m going to ask you to vote at the end!

You’ll remember this item from my previous post. It’s from eBay seller Jewels of Denial. It’s got pearls, silver, and marquise stones: all of the elements of the above accessories. But is it too busy? Or too cheap-looking?

Then there’s the simplest, most elegant option: plain pearls. It’s also the least expensive. It’s a (nearly) direct match to my necklace and secondary pair of earrings, but contains no marquise elements and very little white gold/silver.

[This is "Option B". Price: $18 (shipped); source]

And finally, I give you the result of what happens when I spend too much time trying to decide on something: I manage to locate an item even more expensive than the thing I didn’t want to spend the money on in the first place. (You know, like my dress.) This bracelet from eBay seller Silverbynar has the elements of my unique ring and earring design. There are no pearls on this piece, but IMHO, it doesn’t need ’em. This piece would completely drain my accessories budget (which isn’t so much a budget as a “suggested expenditure”, anyway).

[This is "Option C". Price: $73 (shipped); source]

I bought something already... but which one do you think goes best with my existing jewelry?

otherwise, skip the bracelet and don’t fret about it.
1) you have a gorgeous marquise ring
2) you will be putting on your wedding band.

it really doesn’t matter that like, 4 inches away, there’s nothing adorning your wrist.
Would you wear a watch, btw?

I feel like all are classic choices but it is uncanny how well C matches your ring! So I voted for C.

I LOVE the last bracelet, but with your simple pearl necklace, I think I’d go with the classic pearl bracelet as well. Actually, the clasp of the bracelet is kind of a marquis shape, so it sort of incorporates that aspect of your ring.

Love how classic and simple the pearls are — don’t over-marquise yourself!

As I’m not particularly a fan on pearls-only I LOVE option C… and I’d rarely recommend blowing the buget. But it’s beautiful, and could easily become your signature bracelet for any nice event you attend!

Budget? What budget? Go for Option C!!!! The pearls and too pretty to pass up. Plus you can always re-wear it. Think of it as an investment =] That’s what I always tell myself before I go shopping haha

Isn’t the clasp on the pearl bracelet a marquis shape? I think it ties the whole look together quite nicely!

I say keep it simple with option B. Although C matches your ring the best… maybe you could resell the bracelet after the wedding or keep it as an heirloom :).

I say B, the simple pearls.
It can be reworn again, and with your necklace you would have a nice set. In addition, the others seems to me like they would take away from your ring.

I love option A. I can’t get enough of throwing just one modern, maybe a little unexpected element into an otherwise classic setting. A bracelet is a small statement and won’t be in every picture taken of you, so I’d have a little more fun with it!

I like the simple pearls. Too me bringing in the marquise element just clutters it up.

I vote for the classic pearls. Have you tried wearing all your jewellery together with your dress? I agree with some of the others that you may well not need a bracelet.

Without question, the pearls! They are so simple. I think the others will detract from your rings which should be the star of your jewelry show!

This is just my opinion, but I say go with option B, the single strand pearl. It is budget friendly and it matches the rest of the accessories. Also, you can use it again in the future because it is nice and simple. I know the last one is nice too, but why spend so much on something that’s not real, and not going to be focused on. The pearls are classy and won’t take away from the rest of your attire.
