While my father and I spent a few more minutes in the boardroom, the ceremony began to unfold.
Our dear friends and very talented musicians, Mr. Josh Allen and “Sweets” Parcells, had set up their guitars and amps and began strumming their arrangement of an instrumental medley of some of our favorite Beatles songs.
Once our ushers, our sweet friend Rock and my two “little” cousins, had escorted the last of our guests to their seats, the family made their entrance down the grassy knoll to their VIP seating.
As they sat, Becky cued Josh and Sweets to transition into “Here Comes the Sun”, our selection for the processional.
First to enter were BMChristina and GMRyan M. Christina has been my best friend for over ten years and has seen me through some of my best and worst moments. She was positively radiant as she made her descent on the arm of the very dashing Mr. M.
Sauntering behind them were BMLauren and GMSeth.

My beautiful baby sister, MOH Kelly, and Best Man Ryan followed close behind.
Last but not least in the lineup were my incredibly adorable little cousins, frolicking down the aisle in ivory silk dresses and gold ballet shoes. Highlighted by the rays of the afternoon sun and crowned with baby’s breath halos, they resembled delightfully preppy cherubs.

The entire team was in place as our guitarists strummed the final bars of our Beatles selection and made a seamless transition into Cannon in D.
