I’d been looking for a classy (but not too flashy) bracelet to fit my budget and match the rest of my accessories. In my last post, I’d narrowed it down to a few options, and you all were great about providing your opinions to me!
From my post and the style of my other jewelry, you probably guessed which one I favored most:

I loved, loved, loved this bracelet. It has so many of the same details as my engagement ring. It also seems to match the earrings I found at Macy’s. There are no pearls in it… but I am completely okay with that. In fact, the lack of pearls make it seem a little more wearable on an everyday basis in the future.
This bracelet was, of course, even more expensive than the bracelet I had decided not to buy at the end of my first post. The eBay seller had it for $73. Seventy-three big ones? Man, oh man. That’d be the end of my accessories budget, and on one silly little bracelet! But I decided I really liked it and would likely wear it on many occasions. I was all set to hit “Buy It Now”, but I stopped myself at the last minute. Had I shopped around for this item at all? It was the perfect bracelet, and often if something is on eBay, that’s the best deal. But I decided this much of my cash was worth a couple of minutes’ Googling!
I used the same search terms I’d used on eBay: “marquise bracelet”. First I found it on Amazon for $69.95! That was a little cheaper… except for the $6 shipping, which actually made it more expensive. I’m actually somewhat convinced that the Amazon seller and eBay seller are the same person or company: they had practically identical jewelry selections with prices within a few dollars of each other. Anyway, eBay was still the better deal, so I moved on…
LusterForever had it for $80 shipped. Meh.
Shopzilla found it for me on Sarraf.com for $105. Marked down from $446.25 though! Okaaaaay. Even though the price was much higher, I was happy to see that Sarraf had a much more detailed picture than I’d previously seen. It helped confirm that this was definitely the bracelet for me.
Just look at it:

And look at my ring and earrings:
Perfect match!
Now if I could just find a perfect price. I was beginning to think the eBay auction was my best bet. But then there it was on Buy.com for $47.50! Happy dance! $50 is still more than I ever thought I’d spend on a bracelet, but I felt like the money was worth it for this one (especially since I’d seen it listed for nearly 10 times that price, and I’d done a lot of digital “leg work” to find it at such a discount)!
After spending the $47, I still have a little wiggle room left in my accessories budget, too. I’ll take a photo of all of my accessories once the bracelet arrives, but for now we’ll all have to wait: the free shipping option can take as long as 14 days!
