About Mrs. Gloss

Attn: Marc & Lilly P.

July 26th, 2009 @ 3:50 pm by Mrs. Gloss

Dear Marc & Lilly,

Please stop making cute white dresses and putting them on sale. In case you are not aware, I have already bought seven, yes 7, dresses for the rehearsal dinner and/or wedding day morning. You are making my wallet very upset.

xoxo,
Miss Gloss

P.S. For those of you who haven’t yet purchased a week’s worth of clothing for one day, please buy one of the cute dresses below and send me pictures so I can live vicariously through you. :)

Does every dress/outfit you see turn into something you can wear for a wedding event?

I love the first Lilly Dress, if my wedding were this summer I would totally buy it and let you live vicariously through me. However, I have to wait until Sept. 2010 and fear I too would end up with a weeks worth of dresses if I started buying now.

Oh, I feel your pain! Every dress I see seems just perfect for the Engagement Party, Rehearsal Dinner, Bachelorette Party, Reception Dress, … you get the idea.
Love your new pic, btw!

lol, I’ve totally bought a ton of shower/rehearsal/bachelorette party dresses too! Last weekend there was a sidewalk sale at a bridal salon and I bought 4 bridesmaid dresses for $10 each! I’m planning on using them for my shower or some other wedding event too.

The funny thing is I already had bought dresses at Target too before the sidewalk sale! So now I have a ton of fancy dresses to wear!

Yup, I bought a new item for everything! I find it hard to bring myself to wear white dresses to work though! Not sure why

haha! I think we all use the wedding as an excuse to buy cute things. I currently own 6 dresses, and I’m sure I’ll end up a few more before any of the functions actually begin! darn Nordstrom’s and their enticing pictures (and sales)

I was like what?! I don’t even have ONE extra dress for all my wedding events yet. You inspired me to go online and buy this really cute white one for the RD that caught my eye :) … Now for the B-Party! BAAAADDD Miss Gloss! hehe.

I don’t think there are enough wedding events for all the dresses I’ve seen that I would LIKE to buy!

seven! I’m glad my budget didn’t allow for that. I made a choice and forced myself to stop looking!
But those are some tempting choices.

LOVE this letter :) You are a buyer after my own heart - I purchased 3 pairs of flip flops for the same bachelorette party dress last week :-/ (2 of them arrived today AFTER my bachelorette weekend)
