If there was ever a reason to call it a wedding “party” it would be when referring to the crazy cast that will be standing up for us on our big day. We have an eclectic group of lifelong friends, family members, sorority sisters, and other crazy characters. Nine on each side to be exact. Yeah, that’s a LOT! One best man, one maid of honor, seven bridesmaids, seven groomsmen, one junior bridesmaid, one junior usher and the cutest flower girl and ring bearer you’ve ever seen! Three ring circus is also a term that comes to mind when you think of this rowdy bunch!

Did you go with a big wedding circus like we did, or choose to keep it a bit more intimate?

Looks like a fun group! I have 12 (12!) bridesmaids. It’s going to be a circus for sure!
Mr. St. Patrick originally only wanted our siblings to be our wedding party. That meant his only brother and my two sisters. Brother St. Pat would walk both Sister St. Pats down the aisle. The more he thought about it, the more he thought he didn’t like it, and added his BFF from college to the mix, to even it out. I have a slew of friends that I would have loved as BMs, but just decided to delegate them to other wedding help tasks to make them part of the process, and they’ve happily (at least that’s what they told me,) obliged.
That’s hysterical that Brother Cloud reads WB! I couldn’t pay Brother Star to even check it out once.
I love the Brother Cloud shout out! I think it’s great that you’re having such a large wedding party! My cousin just did that - 8 ladies on her side and 6 boys on the grooms side (first and last groomsmen walked with two ladies). It was great - so many os us showed up early and took care of the last minute paperwork (place cards and ceremony programs). You’ll love it!
small for us 3 bridesmaids and 3 groomsmen. Our Catholic church told us to keep it small. Apparently the Catholic church thinks big wedding parties take away from the ceremony. I don’t know if I agree. If you have a lot of friends it’s great to have them there on your day!
We ended up with seven bridesmaids/groomsmen, 2 flower girls, and 2 ring bearers. I guess that’s what happens when you both have big families and have a ton of fraternity brothers/sorority sisters. 
Oh well, at least I know it will be a fun time!!
nope we’re keeping it small, mostly because i;m bad at keeping in touch with friends and don’t want to ask a “new” friend or an old friend that i haven’t talked to in years. so it will be three on each side.
we def. have a 3 ring circus of sorts. 9 bridesmaids, 9 groomsmen, to flower girls, a ring bearer, a jr bridesmaid, and jr groomsman! eek!
Wow, I’m pretty sure that ours is the minority in the wedding world, but our wedding party consists of one maid of honor, one best man & an absolute (albeit, adorable) HAM of a flower girl. That’s it! Just the nearest & dearest…
I am so glad to hear that you are able to include all of your friends. Being surrounded by all of these wonderful people will definitely make your day that much brighter

We originally went small(er), but then my three high school friends agreed to be house party-ish girls, so the group grew a bit!
Wow, what a huge group! We decided that we wanted to go with a slightly smaller wedding party…4 bm’s and gm’s, and a flower girl and ring bearer!

What a fun group you have! We had a smaller wedding party (MOH, Best Man, 3 BM and 3 GM), but we were all close friends. It was so fun to have all my best friends around us on that big day! You’re going to have a great time together.
Ladies I think I am taking the cake with the circus lol….We have a whopping 10 on each side.. partly because I told the Mr. that it had to be even the 10 originated with me but I wish it were fewer. With in the 10 I have a maid and a matron(whew). 4 Junior bridesmaids (smh) and two ushers. 1 flower girl and 1 ring bearer. that makes a crazy 26 yes.. 26!
