Since the Joey wedding is 5 days away (!!!!!!!), I don’t think I’ll be able to get pictures up of my AWESOME shower until I get back from the honeymoon. Just to give you a taste of the fun and creative presents, I want to share with you a picture of one of my gifts. Get ready to be impressed.

Yes, it’s a cake made out of towels. My friend Felicitas usually makes this gift out of diapers and baby bottles for baby showers, but adjusted the materials for my wedding shower. Awesome right?

It looked better before I had to transport it home, as it fell over in my backseat.

So cute!! I haven’t had my bridal shower yet, but at a friend’s shower, she got a whole “tanning kit”, since the two of them would often tan together. It was so cute, with sunglasses, a towel, tanning oil, aloe, and some fun drink mixes!

I love that your friend is so creative!

that’s very cute and creative! so excited for your big day!

and, um, my wedding’s not until next year…so, no showers yet. although, one of my aunts gave my mom a gift for us already. my mom’s holding on to it until our big day.

Oh I love diaper cakes and how fun she changed it up (um, of course!) to go well for your wedding shower I haven’t had a chance to try and make my own and really hope someone I know has a baby or has a wedding shower soon.

That’s super fun!

We got a “Make-up Kit” from my Aunt. It had chocolate cake mix and icing, a cupcake pan, a bottle of good red wine, two personalized glasses with our married monogram, some massage oil, and two I’m sorry cards. It was adorable, and someday I know it will come in handy when we have a knock-down, drag out fight that needs cupcakes, wine, and a heartfelt apology.
