We decided to do a “first look” for a couple of reasons - mainly, to allow extra time for fun pictures. 
Also, since we were together all morning, we’d already cursed ourselves by seeing each other before the ceremony. Oops! It’s a good thing we don’t believe in stuff like that!
The first look gave us time to be giddy about getting ready to walk down the aisle & to also calm each other. We also got to relive prom when I pinned on his boutonniere (successfully, might I add?).
One last kiss from my girls & I was on my way to meet Mr. Q at the end of the pier!
Remember when I said my veil was like a sail? This is what I was talking about.
Sooo happy! 
Then it was time to pin on Mr. Q’s bout. It was around this time that my veil started winding up, readying itself for the attack…
Oh, how I wish my veil was blowing lightly in the breeze in these pictures!
Apparently the weather man didn’t get my memo stating that I would be wearing a long as* veil & to keep the wind down! Because all of a sudden…
… ATTACK!
But in the end, it was worth it because we were able to get amazing shots like this…
…and this.
After we sauntered off the pier, we headed around the grounds of Coyaba for a fun photo shoot - coming up next!

What beautiful pics! At this point, I’m *pretty* sure we’ll be doing a first look.
That picture is hilarious!!!! Your veil was so beautiful, I’m glad it behaved for the other shots. 
Haha! You still looked great- tangled veil or not. Didn’t it hurt when the wind was pulling at your veil?
Also, I’d like to say that I was very surprised when I read your age, you look so fresh, I thought you were maybe 32 max!

Oh fun! I love how it attacked you! Silly veil. I wish we’d done a first look! I think we’d have gotten a lot more intimate, not rushed pictures. Ours turned out pretty but posed and kind of typical in that photojournalistic way

I was going to say that any “attack” was probably worth it…even before getting to the final shots. Those are GORGEOUS, Q! You already know that you look like a model, right? So I won’t even mention it.
You look stunning in that dress! I’ve been a fan of fashionbride for a while now. It’s the best place to see all of the designers that you don’t hear about very often!

Honestly, the comb on my veil was so tight…there was no way that thing was going to budge without taking my entire bun with it I must have strong hair…heehee!

wow. I wish I had a fantastic backdrop like that to take photos in front of. I don’t think I’d pay much attentio nto the veil attack if I had that water to distract me… or that man
Those are great! I know what you mean about attacking veils. Mine was only elbow length but the wind was so crazy during our pictures that it was attacking me and my husband at times.
So wonderful! Now I am certain that my FI and I should do a “first look”. Your photographer was able to capture such an important moment without anything getting in the way.
