Well gang, it’s a big day for the Sunbeams! Today we will celebrate 10 years of dating. I know, we can hardly believe it too. It’s a great number to end our years of dating as we move on to wedding anniversaries. Thanks to all our friends and family for supporting us as we struggled with love, long distance and just plain growing up. Here’s a real quick look back at the many years of us.

We thought we should be doing something epic to mark this day, but it’s a weekday and Mr. Sunbeam has been swamped with work (I’m talking coming home in the early AM busy). So tonight we’re taking ourselves out to one our favorite restaurants to celebrate occasions, TownHall. I tried to dig up some old pics of us celebrating there…

It’s always embarrassing to pull out a camera at a nice restaurant, so that’s all I could find! We’ll definitely be snapping some tonight, though. I won’t try to claim it was 10 years of perfection, but it was certainly 10 years of love. In two months we’re going all in and tying the knot!

Congratulations!! We were also together for 10 years almost to the day, when we got married. I am so glad we were together for so long before we made it “official”. I think being together for that long made us super prepared for marriage, and made it much easier for us to deal with the ups and downs. May you be as happy in your marriage as we have been!

Wow, 10 years is impressive! Congrats! I love that photo of you two on the beach! You’re an adorable couple. Although my husband and I have known each other for 13 years, we didn’t get together until Year 9 of our friendship. Talk about slow movers…;)
I love it! Congratulations to the Sunbeams! My FI and I started dating in college…six years ago. 
We have been together for 8 years and we will be almost 9 when we get married. Long distance, family struggles and growing up make our relationship strong. can’t wait to marry my Prince.

FI and I have known each other for 15 years (!!!) but have only been together for 5. I still can’t believe its already been 5 years…

Aw. Congratulations! Our wedding will be ten years from the day we met, 2 months shy of our ten month anniversary!
Wow, it’s fun to see how much you have changed since you first met. We will be one month shy of 9 years when we get married. When I look back at pictures of when we first met, not only do we look so young, but it reminds me of how far we have come!

We were together 9.5 years by the time we got married last september. I had always joked with him that there was no way that we would be dating for 10 years before we got married (Since it seemed to take forever to get engaged). He sure cut it close but made it under the 10 year mark!

I also 2nd Mrs. W - I really feel that being together so long makes it much easier to deal with ups and downs, because at some point in those 10 years, there must have been a few tougher spots, and I did feel super prepared for marriage.

Wow, you two looked like babies in the earlier pictures! We’ve been together for a total of 6 years, so we’ve got nothing on you. After you are married are you still going to celebrate your dating anniversary?

@Lillindy: I’m not sure that we will. We’ll probably acknowledge it, but we’ve already celebrated a lot of dating anniversaries - on to wedding anniversaries
congratulations!! i love seeing photos of couples through the years we’ve been together for 7 years, so we consider it lucky.
Aw, the first photo is adorable. We’ve been together for almost fifteen years, so we’ve got quite a few awkward prom shots too. Something for the kids to laugh at.
Congrats to you both! Those pics are great! It must be so nice to have so many pics of you two from over the years. We have a random pic from a party we were both at when we were 15 and that’s about it, but it’ll do for now…
Congrats on 10 years!! So exciting that you’re marrying in your 10th anniversary year. FI & I have been together for 11; will be together for 12 when we marry next year…can’t wait to START celebrating anniversaries!! 
Congratulations! We’ve been dating for six years…it’ll be seven by the time we get married. I plan on trying to include several pictures of us throughout the years on our wedding!
We were together 8 years upon getting married, high school sweethearts as well. So long in the making! I am kind of bummed about starting over in terms of anniversary years. You can be I will always say “married xx years, TOGETHER 100″. Congratulations!

i bet it’s been fun growing up together! Sometimes I wish I’d dated Mr. LL longer, but when I see pics of him when he was 16–I know we would have never worked out then!
@Andrea: Yes! A fellow cat walker! I literally heard someone talking about what I can assume was me (unknowingly to them) in my neighborhood the other day. They were telling a friend the ACTUALLY saw someone walking their cat in the nearby park. Hehe. Cats like to get out too! Maybe not as much as dogs… but still… and yes we are HS sweethearts and I love our awkward teen photos.

We celebrated eight years together in mid-June…high school sweethearts as well, but we got together late — just six days before I graduated!
