An exciting (and surprisingly heavy!) package came earlier this week!
Our wedding album!
Is it weird to get so excited over our wedding album when we were married close to 14 months ago?!
I think not. Let’s just call it a late anniversary present. 
We had originally taken the album out of our photography package thinking it’d be easy to get a high quality photo album for much less. I was wrong, or lazy… or maybe a little bit of both.
Anyways, let’s see what’s inside of this monster of a book (it’s 9.5 inches tall, 13 inches wide, and opens flat to 26 inches!)!
I think my favorite part of getting a professional album is the super thick pages. They’re so yummy delicious!
We worked with our photographer to get the perfect layouts. I loooooove the results so much, I’ll show you the entire album!
Going through the album (okay, I’ll admit it… multiple times) brought back the wonderful memories of our wedding day, and I’m happy to have invested in a wonderful keepsake!
Professional albums, worth it?
I think so.

How much is a professional album compared to an album you can make online yourself?
Totally worth it! That’s what I think every single time I look at ours. Yours really turned out beautiful!
That looks so nice. We changed photographers and I took the package with the new one without the albulm, maybe this can be an anniversary present for us too.

I LOVE professional albums! Our photographer doesn’t make them, but we have a friend’s mom who makes albums almost exclusively and we’re planning to ask her when we get the high-res digitals.

Pro albums are TOTALLY worth it! We don’t have one in our photo package now, so we’re going to wait and save a bit, then order one. We’re doing parent albums from blurb though.
Beautiful! I can’t WAIT to work with our photog to design the album (the wedding’s 10 months away…I have awhile to wait. Sigh.) Everything looks absolutely stunning!
Absolutely beautiful!!! My photographer doesn’t offer an album package, but she is giving us all of our proofs on a CD immediately following. So I’m hoping to find somewhere to make a gorgeous and hopefuly cheap! album.
@Andrea: I won’t lie. There’s a BIG price difference… like $900. That said, there is also a huge difference in quality. I’ve made a few photobooks using various vendor (blurb, mypublisher, and mpix), nothing comes even remotely close. The Graphistudio album (which also ships from Italy), is part leather bound has an engraved cover, and the pages are super thick and cardboard-like. It is really expensive, but if you can fit it in your budget you won’t be sorry.

I love the album! Ours comes with our photo package so it will me much like yours. BTW, I love your qipao. I decided to do a fuschia like yours. It looks great in pictures.=)
