Mrs. Poodle's Picture
Mrs. Poodle, Santiago, Chile/San Bernardino, CA Age and Occupation: 27, Industrial & Web Designer Fiance's Age and Occupation: 24, Firefighter & Mountain Patrol Engagement Date: February 25, 2009 Wedding Date: January 2010 Venue: Mr. P's Grandparents’ Ranch About Me: I’m a Chilean girl who's crazy about nature and swimming. I enjoy carving, drawing, reading and sewing; I drool over computers, fabric, pretty paper, purple and patterns. To me, chocolate should be one of the seven wonders, right next to lemon pie. I never thought an exchange work experience program was going to change my life forever, but while working in California, I met Mr. Poodle, and ever since my days are better and brighter. We are two goofy souls that, after finding each other, couldn’t help but want to be together forever. It has being a long and sometimes hard road, since we have to deal with such a long distance between us, but we are now facing the last stage of our Fiancé Visa, and soon we will be together. You know the best part? We will be married! So I’ll be blogging from Chile until just a few months before our “green and purple” wedding.
About Mrs. Poodle

Rustic Flavor

Another Etsy seller to love! As usual, Esty is a never-ending ocean of gorgeous ideas for projects and finds for weddings. I don’t really know how many favorites sellers I have there, but, gosh!! every time I run into cute finds, I drool all over the keyboard.

I’m so in love with this little nest. I wasn’t planning on having something to hold our rings, just because I don’t know who’s job that’s going to be, but maybe I can add this cute little nest to my DIY list. smile012 Have you seen the cute and easy nest that Mrs. Espresso posted here?

And how about a basket to match? I’m in love with it, but since I don’t have a flower girl, I might just make it for myself so I can jump around the house with a green little dress on… LOL.

If you’re not having a ring bearer, who will be responsible for your rings during the ceremony?

Cutest thing I’ve ever seen… we actually have a bird THEME going on. I wish I had seen these before making our current RB pillow and FG baskets. Dang :-)

I saw both the nest & basket a couple weeks back & decided to make them myself as well. The nest was insanely easy! I bought an empty nest, moss, tiny birds, & ribbon from Michael’s. I sewed the ribbon onto the moss & hot glued it inside the nest - it only took about 15 minutes. You should go for it!
We’re having a ring bearer, but you could just have it on display up by where you’re saying your vows.

Best man, baby. He handed the rings in the giant black velvet box to the priest! Yikes! I am jumping on the birdy bandwagon–love the nest idea!

If we would have had a ring bearer, I would have made a nest for sure! I love them!

Best Man will have mine (he’s threatened with a slow and painful death if he even THINKS of misplacing them!) and MOH will have his. :)

We aren’t having a ring bearer so my MOH will have the rings. She isn’t carrying a bouquet, so I’m trying to find something cute to tie the rings to that she can carry.
