Something Borrowed… From a Bee!

August 4th, 2009 @ 5:15 pm by Mrs. D'orsay

I can’t say it enough… Weddingbee rocks! It has changed not only my wedding, but certainly my life, to be able to consistently share and partake in such a wonderful community. This is why I’m ultra grateful that a bee is lending me my something borrowed!

I arrived home from a grueling workout to find this beautiful package on my doorstep.

3

Okay… maybe it was in a FedEx box… but this was inside of it!

I waited ’til the second fitting to try it on because my cats have the habit of pouncing on things like veils… and I’m so glad I did!

1

I was able to twirl around (yes…I twirled) and I felt so “bridal” in the ivory veil. Remember my veil indecision? Solved. I’ll wear the long veil for the ceremony and change into the birdcage after the cocktail hour.

2

Can you guess which wonderful bee I borrowed the veil from? I’ll give you a hint… it’s been featured recently!

That veil looks great with your dress! What nice bees we have here! I’m doing the same exact thing. I’m borrowing my friend’s catherdal length veil then changing into a birdcage veil for the reception. FUN!!

I totally agree with Miss Star, how special to have your something borrowed from another bee! It’s so great that sharing the planning experience together (and with the world!) brought you the necessities for the wedding!
