Ahh, the details. I hated planning the big things about the wedding, but when it came to bathroom baskets and scrapbooks and pretty menus, I wanted as many personal details as possible. Unfortunately, I really didn’t have the time (or the money) to do everything I wanted to do, but I was happy with the few things that we were able to fit in. Here are some of the details that Cly Creation captured for us. I was really excited when I saw these pictures, because to tell you the truth, I never asked them to pay attention to the details.
(all pictures taken by Cly Creation unless otherwise noted)
I really loved how the menus came out. The Venetian actually provided menus for us, but I was dead set on making our own. Mr. Martini even tried to sway my decision in that it was an unnecessary expense, but in the end we loved them so much that it was totally worth it. My friend Y, who designed our invitations, also designed matching menus and programs.
Our Programs. I originally wanted to use ribbons instead of brads to hold the programs together, but two days before the wedding I was NOT in the mood to sit there and thread ribbon through 200 tiny holes. In a last minute attempt, I bought a few packs of silver brads, and in the end it worked out great. And my BMs loved me a little bit more, I think.
My only regret is that I didn’t save a program for myself!
My mom’s family from Korea really wanted to attend our wedding, but unfortunately the travel plans fell through and they weren’t able to make it. They still wanted to contribute a small part to the wedding however, and sent over 150 fully wrapped cases to give out as additional favors. Here’s a picture that I took with my camera phone:
I knew all the Korean moms would totally love them (and probably try to nab two of them), but I had a feeling that our male friends would be at a loss as to what to do with them. It was confirmed when a friend said to me not long after the wedding, “I’m totally at a loss as to what to do with it!” I told him that I appreciated the fact that he actually remembered to take one home in his drunken state, and suggested he give it to his mom. I’m not exactly sure what to do with mine either, but I have to admit, they’re pretty adorable!
Our place cards.
A very last minute detail - a display of our parents’ wedding pictures. We wanted to make this so much better, but instead Mr. Martini had to run around looking for matching frames on the morning of the wedding, and threw it on one of the tables leading into the ceremony room. But I saw a lot of people looking at the pictures and marveling at how young our parents looked, so I’m very glad we got this in.
Our petal cones. Cly Creation made them look so much better than they actually looked!
Our Bouquets! I was completely and utterly happy with how all the flowers came out, considering the fact that our flower was budget was pretty slim.
I almost stopped breathing when I saw my purple bouquet. It looked even better than the inspiration picture I gave her.

The ceremony room aisle, that we frantically covered in rose petals the moment we got to the venue. Here’s a little tip, though: don’t spread out the rose petals until AFTER the rehearsal!
