Wellll… it would be great! Because I’m not talking about insects, I’m talking about bloggers! Specifically, these lovely ladies (plus a few hornets and a baby bee).
Mr. D and I are so excited to welcome a few of our online friends to our nuptials. Though… at first, my mother thought I was referring to “B list people” vs. “Bee people”. By now though, she’s used to me saying things like, “Avocado said…,” or, “Candy Corn is coming!” This all sounds kinda strange if you’re not hip to the ‘bee.
Have you ever invited anyone to your wedding you hadn’t (yet) met in person?

What if Bees Swarmed Our Wedding?
Awww, wish I could make it, but glad so many of the Bees are representing! 
That’s really sweet. I invited a friend whom I met through another online board. We’ve been friends through emailing/talking on the phone, but have never meet in real life. Unfortunately, she and her husband couldn’t make it to the wedding. It would have been really fun to meet up though.
You have to make sure there are lots of photos of the other Bees in attendance!!
Miss D’Orsay, what wedding website are you using? We are looking for one to use right now and I really like the set up
inviting online friends is the best!! i have about 10 of my good friends i met on the knot invited to my wedding!

I know what you mean. I’m always talking about WeddingBee with my friends and I’ll be like ‘ohh Mrs. Kitten’s video was amazing… loved Mrs. Cupcakes invites!’. My bridesmaids are all confused and don’t get it.
Yay for Weddingbee and yay for online friends! Can’t wait for what will surely be a fantastic wedding!
Do I hear tell of some kind of pre-or-post wedding Baltimore Bee meetup? (Not with you, of course, but with other fabulous swarming bees…) I’m just saying…might as well take advantage of everyone being in the area!
Lifelong friendships are made online now, so I don’t see a difference in that and inviting any other good friend!

hehhe - My husband is used to my saying “oooh Mrs Avacado this” or “Miss Apple Cider that” but I can only imagine my mothers face if she saw names like that on our guest list.
@Gator: @backyardwed: Yup! It’s the knot, though, admittedly, I’ve found their system occasionally frustrating. I’d encourage you to check out other systems as well for your guest list manager such as martha’s or wedding wire’s. For our wedding website we used project wedding and I highly recommend it!
@edb: great idea! I think several are only coming down for the night though, so I’m not sure how many would still be around.

Who wouldn’t want a bunch of crazy wedding obsessed fellow brides at their party? We’re going to be waiting on D’orsay hand and foot all day, and we’ll keep the dance floor going until they kick us off that night! Sooooo excited!
That’s awesome. So, I have a question that would maybe make a good Pengy blog post. It seems as if there’s a whole Weddingbee world out there we don’t see behind the scenes where you all talk etc. I’d love to know how it works.
I would have invited my friend Mrs. Penguin to my wedding….but she was busy that day. You know, getting married and stuff.
I would love to do this, but we just can’t afford to add any extras. Can’t wait to see the bee-union at your wedding! Oh and I LOVE your venue, it was definitely a contendor for our wedding!

I am inviging a friend I met “online” a few years ago - we’ve NEVER met in person (she lives in Washington (the state) and I’m in Indiana) - but she got me through MANY tough relationships in my past (until I met Mr. JuneBride)…and I absolutely HAD to invite her to the wedding! I can’t wait to meet her!
Wow! I have never met anyone online. Although I have been using the internet for quite a long time, I don’t know why I never made friends…
@sarsk624–I’ve been wondering the same thing!! Do the Bees have their own kind of social networking site where you can communicate amongst yourselves?

actually last year i went to my friend wedding in seattle (im in nc) and we had never met until her wedding day.
@carrie.a.s.b: @sarsk624: Lot’s of bees are friends on the FB, gchat and I follow several on twitter. So many of Mr.D’s invites from England couldn’t make it so I extended the invite to mah bee friends.

Soooo jealous you’re having so many bees at your wedding! There are (believe it or not) people in Mr. Bruschetta’s family I haven’t met yet — after eight years! — who are coming to our wedding.
I wish I could come!!!!! I can’t believe we will miss it by one week!
