Have you done this? Have you searched for pictures of weddings that were held at your venue? For some reason, I never have. Until today.
Coming across images of weddings before ours at Devil’s Thumb Ranch is making me excited. Really, super, duper excited. It’s also making me nervous (there are quite a few of brides and grooms holding umbrellas and of foreboding skies). That said, I’m also nervous because looking at these pictures is somewhat of a reality check. Soon, we will have these same pictures with our faces and our details and our friends and family. The only thing that gives me comfort (amidst the stress of wedding planning right now) is knowing that Mr. CB will be there with me.

Does looking at pictures of your venue make you nervous or excited?
umm…GORGEOUS! Yes, I did hunt down pics from weddings at our venue, but there weren’t too many!
Your venue is GORGEOUS! Seeing pictures of ours usually makes me nervous, since most weddings there are uber-extravagant…and ours definitely won’t be!
I love where you are getting married! I live in Colorado and checked into the same location but it wasn’t going to work for us…sadly. I’ve seen nothing but beautiful pictures from that location. Can’t wait to see yours! As for my location, they don’t really advertise that they do weddings so it’s a word or mouth or by luck you find the location—seems like photographers in the area don’t label their photos much so there are few and far between photos 
Otherwise I would be stalking too!
I stalk a blog by a popular local wedding minister. The pictures she had of weddings at my venue actually made me decide to change how I arranged the ceremony after seeing it done an alternate way we had been considering. Very helpful!
Awesome pics. There’s no real point in googling my venue… it’s my parents lake house, so i probably took all the photos that i’d find online!! haha!
I just tried, and nothing I hadn’t already seen came up!

PS I just googled image stalked our venue and pictures from our wedding come up first. I think that’s pretty cool.
What a beautiful location! Whenever I see pics of my reception site…it makes me nervous! I would be so excited to be getting married where you are! 
That’s gorgeous!! I didn’t bother searching for pictures since we were the inaugural reception in our venue, having the wedding the day after Grand Opening!
if that was my venue i’d be excited! those are some gorgeous shots. my oh my.
I wish I could find pics online, but my venue was out of commission for 20 years before we booked it. I have pics from when it was only a few years old from family members, so at least I have something

Pictures from our reception venue are fairly common. The first pictures I found of our church for the ceremony were pictures tagged of a friend who was a bridesmaid in a wedding there on facebook! I found one on a blog when google stalking today, too. I’m pretty in love with it.
your venue is gorgeous! i google stalk a lot of things hehe. looking at pics of potential venues gives me lots of inspiration!
@Miss Bruschetta: I know what you mean! I’ve seen pictures of studio wrap parties, a couple of awards shows, and some beautiful weddings at my venue- how could I possibly compete with that?!?
omg. I totally google stalk my venue. I also ask potential vendors to send me pics of any weddings they done at my venue!

I looked around for pictures when i was trying to come up with ideas. Unfortunately there weren’t many I could find. Maybe mine will be a first that other brides-to-be can learn from
that staryy night photo is incredible. You’re going to have great photo ops!
