About Mrs. Sprinkle

Thanks to Endless and Zappos, I am now the proud owner of six possible pairs of wedding shoes. I just lined them all up and started snapping photos so I could get a different view of how they look with my dress.

Please join me in a virtual shoe adventure!

Pair #1

These shoes are super cute, but they don’t have any sort of heel, which is bothering me more and more. A lot of the shoes I am finding are flats, but now that I have tried the flats on with the dress I am really thinking I need a bit of a heel.

Pair #2

These are actually really cute but the fit is a bit off. They gap in weird places. I bought them a size down as recommended on the website, but they still feel loose in some places and tight in others. Also, the heel isn’t as sturdy as I would like.

Pair #3

I bought these to wear with my rehearsal dinner dress, but decided to throw them in just in case. They’re also flats, but super comfy.

Pair #4

I LOVE these shoes. I have them in gray and wear them almost every day. unfortunately, the yellow is a little brighter than what I am looking for. And again, they are flat.

Pair #5

The color is a little more marbled than I would prefer, but I love the peep toe, and love the heel!

Pair #6

While I love the flower on these, I’m just not sure I can get over the bedroom slipper look/feel that they have going on.

There you have it. While I was really looking for kitten heel, peep toe, mustard colored vegan shoes, I did find a nice variety to ponder over. Most of them I love and would wear on a regular basis! But which ones are my wedding day shoes? I have to choose by next week because my first alterations appointment is coming up.

Which shoes are your favorite?! Help me decide!

#1 & #5 were my favorites.

I bought pair 4 in the orangey color and they’re super comfy. My coworkers owns the gray ones. LOL.

So love the detail of your dress, and I am still totally into the second pair. But I love me a good peep toe any day- are you surprised? hehe.

All of those yellow ones though are so cute, even without the heel… love them! I also love yellow shoes so that might just be me :)

@lkristine7: which place were these from? i would love the gray ones for work!

Call me boring, I really like Pair #3 with it…the others seem ‘off’…like it’s not quite right…but on the way to being right…good luck :)

All your shoe choices are adorable but you dress hem is so unique and striking that I feel that a shoe with too much detail distracts from it’s beauty. Have you tried a plain ivory shoe with great lines (heel, peep toe, t-strap, etc.) but not much detail (bows, flowers, ruffles, etc.)? I think any of these work, but if you’re not 100% it’s worth a try.

I love the detail of the hem of your dress and really think that it should be the focus…..just my opinion.

#5 are the best. I think you are right, you need a little bit of heel with the dress. That pair fits you well and looks beautiful!

I’m am very much into the fifth pair. I agree that while the flats are probably more comfy, they’re not necessarily wedding-y enough. The fifth pair are super cute- they have that interesting strap going up your foot and a small enough heel that you won’t be tripping around, but it still adds elegance to the dress.

Hard to decide……..#1 or #5. I like the ruffle on #1. It just seems to go with the detail of your dress. But #5 seems like a better fit for what you want.

I like #1 and #4 best. If you’re really wanting a heel, maybe wear #5 during the ceremony and then choose one of the flats for later (your feet will thank you!).

I like pair number 2. I know they gap, but could you try an arch insert that might change the shape of the shoe a bit? Pair 1 is really cute, but too bad they don’t have a bit of a heel.

It’s hard to tell without seeing your whole dress, but No. 1 is my favorite. Love the ruffle!
