Fresh from our first look, it was time for the ceremony to begin (we took some bridal party pictures before the ceremony, but I’ll share all of those later).

I’ve been dying to show you how some of my DIY details made their way to the ceremony. As I’ve said before, the wedding lawn is incredible on its own, but I wanted to do a little “something” to dress it up a bit. It’s hard to pick my favorite thing, but I love the way the “floating” flower petals look! I haven’t even mentioned my pomanders yet, but the way they POP makes me sooo happy!

Okay, where were we? Oh yeah, the wedding ceremony! I was squirreled away to Mama & Stepdad Quiche’s room while our guests took their seats & everyone else lined up and began their ascent to the altar.

I would LOVE to make those for my wedding and I’ve seen them posted a few times but haven’t received a response from anyone who has made them. OMG I LOVE the first picture and this almost has me convinced that I need paper pomanders on the end of the rows at my ceremony! Only its on concrete so I don’t know what to use as the base. So pretty! You’re so lucky!

You are truly radiant…
I have been debating some of these details, and nixed them due to the distance (Jamaica/travel/etc.) You have executed this so well, I’m reallly tempted to use pomanders, at least they will pack flat! Did you bring the Shepard hooks down?
