About Mrs. Beagle

Crowned

August 7th, 2009 @ 12:22 pm by Mrs. Beagle

Here is a cake topper option that I hadn’t considered before. That is, until I saw these:

Crowned : wedding cake decor Db 5071

Crowned : wedding cake decor Snowcro1

Crowned : wedding cake decor Sweet31 sweet31

That last one is absolutely my favorite. I love how it seems both rustic and whimsical *sigh*. If I hadn’t started making my cake topper (yet another DIY project… I know) I would run out and buy one right. now.

Are you having a traditional or non-traditional cake topper?

I’m not having a cake topper, but those are absolutely gorgeous! I would reconsider myself if the top of my cake didn’t have a design I don’t want to cover up!

Those are so beautiful! I was not sure about a cake topper, but I am getting cake flags from Etsy. They are cool and unique (and not spendy at all!). I just didn’t want flowers for some reason, but I also don’t want the cake to look too plain.

Good question, I haven’t decided what I want. I know I don’t want a tradition bride and groom. I have seen a lot of intials, either in rhinestones or pearls, but I am not sure those really go with our venue. I guess, we’ll have to decide once we pick the cake we want. I do like the second one you showed, it kind of looks like a nest.

Wow, what a neat idea. No cake for me, so no topper. But I love the look of these.

This is one topic I just can’t figure out! We have considered figurines, flowers, animals, and dogs (I have a basset hound and he loves English bulldogs) and yet we can’t decide on anything!
