Last time I left you hang’n on who we ended up hiring as our photographer. We did in fact decide to go with someone from the team of RAD Photography, namely, Mark Davidson. We took a look at his personal site and thought he had done some great work, so for our big day he and an assistant photographer will be capturing us for up to 12 hours! Two photographers, for 12 hours, at a great price - SOLD! Here is a smattering of his work. *All images were taken from his personal site.*
I am pretty sure we’ll feel like the Paparazzi are following us on our wedding day. Between our two pro photographers and our fabulous friends with fancy dancey cameras from Mr. Sunbeam’s office, who will be taking photos (casually) as well, every moment is destined to be captured.
I really thought at seven months to go I wasn’t going to find a stellar photographer in our area that we could afford—since we had only budgeted for a friendor—but the planets aligned and it looks like we’re going to be well taken care of by Mark.
How far in advance did you book your photographer? Did you find it hard to find someone, or did you get the photog you had been wanting right away?

We both kind of had our dream photographer picked out before anyone had a ring on thie finger 
Right after we got engaged, we gave her a call about 14 months before our wedding date range (we said anytime in September), and she only had one weekend available! That’s also how we ended up picking our date. I couldn’t believe she booked up that far in advance.
We actually went with a friendor. She’s great AND I know she’ll take awesome pics (or else! wink wink!)

You are all making me feel like I’m behind. We’re 9 months out and we’re yet to pick a venue. I love these photos though, I can’t WAIT until you share yours with us!
I booked my photographer within like 2 weeks… and this was more than 13 months in advance of our wedding. Good thing, too, because before we had signed the contract one of the photographers said they had gotten more inquiries for our date! Apparently May and October are the months that fill up fastest in Atlanta where I am. We got the photographer I knew I wanted from the beginning, though we met with one other to at least have a point of comparison.
YAY! He just shot my wedding and I LOVE the photos. Plus, he saved me and husband from being caught in a major thunder storm while taking photos. While other brides around us were soaking wet, we were dry in the back of his car. Good times and great photos!

Had we planned from the start to hire someone I would have been booking 15 months early - not a good vendor to have a change of heart about since they get booked early!
