Even though the Dude’s parents are (very generously) paying for the rehearsal dinner, we are planning and hosting it for the most part. It’s going to be in our backyard, after all!
So this past weekend I dusted off my Gocco and created some rehearsal dinner invitations to mail out.

It’s kind of difficult to see the light-pink cow and pig, but they look a lot more vivid in person.
I used Eco-white paper from PaperSource and light-pink and gold Gocco inks. The fonts were downloaded from Dafont (for free), and the graphics were found on Google images. I created this design as a Word document. It really doesn’t get much more low-tech than that! I’m going to pick up a few envelopes, hand address them, and send them out tomorrow.

Super cute! I think dafont.com has been my favorite resource I learned about from the hive!
I really thought you hand wrote that with glitter pen! Love the font, they look great!
@LatteLove: Well, it’s at our house, but I don’t think it’ll be too stressful. At least everyone comes to us, right?
@Miss Bruschetta: Yep, that’s gold Gocco ink. One of my favorite things about Gocco is that you can print sparkly and pastel colors.
@eileen marie: I printed them on paper, not cardstock–not sturdy enough to mail as a postcard.
omg I LOVE the cow and the pig! We used similar images on our RSVP cards for menu choices!
