Help Me Pick a Necklace!

August 18th, 2009 @ 3:03 pm by Mrs. Mouse

I’m almost done with my wedding day accessories, but I need help with one last detail.

I’ve already purchased this tiny locket, which I will be filling with a picture of my dad.

Because I like the boho, layered look, I still want at least one more necklace to wear with this one. Here’s a picture of the necklace on a model, so you can get an idea of the length.

So now my question is, which of the following necklaces should I buy to complete my look?

We’ve got the rock-n-roll statement piece.

This teeny rabbit (it’s sold out, but I could try to message the seller for a custom order).

There’s the quirky three-owl pendant.

And this sweet pearl and filigree necklace with a dainty dove.

Something original and floaty.

Or how about this twisty, pearl and gold creation by Amrita Singh?

I feel like my choices are all over the map! Which one would work best with my locket? Keep in mind, I can always get a longer chain for the locket if necessary. I’m actually really into the choker idea, as long as I can pull it off without looking too “Nineties goth“.

Please help!

The floaty necklace! It would go well with the whimsical/sweet frills on your dress!

I second the dainty dove! It’s just so cute. But I agree that the “floaty” one would also look great. What’s the return policy like on them? Can you order them and return once you make a decision? That would help me a lot, being a very visual person.. :)

Dainty dove or floaty pearl one. I love them both!

I like the last one with the pearls, and I think it will look great with the necklace you already ordered.

I like the last two the best. your locket is wonderful! I think that the original and floaty might look best with the locket, but the last pearl twisted one is my fav!

Great choices. The floaty one would match your dress … but I’m just not a big fan to be honest. I love the first one - it’s fun and I think will look great with the locket. The other necklaces are nice, too, and my favorite one (the dainty dove) is awesome but I feel like those styles may take away from the locket instead of add to it.

The dove or the floaty one. I like that you’re not limiting jewelry to one necklace!

I think the dainty dove would look best with the locket. I had the hardest time finding a locket I liked (for my grandmother’s picture) and ended up going with a locket bracelet. :)

Good luck!

I absolutely love the locket necklace. I think its so special to carry your dad with you. I think I like the last necklace best, but I’m having trouble picturing them together.

I think the last pearl twisty one is the best for the locket. Other than that I like the floaty one. I think chokers look really harsh at weddings and something floatier would be great!

The bunny is so cute! I think I would go with that one. But I do love the floaty too.

The bunny or the dove. I actually really like them all, but I think these two would look best with your other necklace. Maybe you can just buy them all? ;)
