I cannot believe I didn’t know about these ties from Cyberoptix before. They are SO awesome!
Swinging from the chandelier!
My personal favorite. This would have been even more perfect if we were getting married at an art gallery.

This would fit in well with our color scheme (pewter and my off-white dress). The boutonnier was created by the Etsy shop of lfinkels. They are $19.
This is classic vintage with a Monique Lhuillier feel. We could take off the leaf, since it’s a summer/spring, not fall, wedding. From the Etsy shop of amanda1986 - Design Whimsy. $14.

What kind of boutonniere is your groom wearing? Are you sticking with the traditional flowers, or are you making it into a DIY project?
The first bout is my fave! And what does the second tie say? 
Love the ties! I do like the second one even though I’m not sure what is says! We’re going the traditional flower route for the bout!
Our guys didn’t wair bouts. We got them all fancy pocket squares instead. We figured that way they might be able to get more use out of them.
We are doing traditional bouts. I actually just finished them up myself!

Hahah! I know! I think it looks like that too. When I showed it to Mr. Chick he asked if the guy was trying to commit suicide. Not a very good sign. Too bad, because I do love the idea of it!
I love the second bout, all understated, vintagey, and, like you said, very ML.
I love those ties - some of them are a little dark though.

The designer confirmed that the man hanging was swinging, but as in a celebration, not a morbid way. But, to many guests it might be hard to make the distinction.

I can’t decide on his flowers because he’s allergic to flowers and being that close to his face he’ll be crying like a baby. Well maybe he’ll do that on his own. LOL
we decided to stick with traditional flower bouts, but i’m so in love with ones on etsy.
I love those ties, I’m hoping to make something like the etsy bouts for myself.
