This is a timely contest (although, I can’t enter… hehe) because Mr. Penguin and I will be traveling to Thailand next winter to celebrate our nuptials on the beach with my Thai family! wow! that’s so awesome! We’re going to Thailand next February for the wedding of good friends and are thinking of staying and having a pre-wedding honeymoon. i would love this so that we can know all the best places to hit up on our trip!

I don’t want to enter, but I want to say that thailand is an AMAZING place to go on a honeymoon! Go off the beaten path, and you’ll be rewarded!! Or stay in bangkok, and enjoy the richness of life there! I LOVED thailand!!
but then again, I could eat thai food for breakfast, lunch & dinner

My fiance and I haven’t picked a place to honeymoon yet. Thailand would be amazing to see.

This past year has been a little stressful for the family. Two years ago, my father in law to be had a battle with colon cancer. It was caught early enough and he won the battle. This past year, he had a 6 bypass surgery and is recovering. There were 2 deaths in the family wihtin a week of eachother earlier this year.

We’ve had so much family related issues and every day work and life, it just hasn’t seem like we’ve had a lot of together time. The wedding is a few weeks away and we’re busy focussing and planning. We’ve forgotten to plan for the honeymoon.

This would bring so much joy to us. Something to look forward to and an amazing opportunity for us to celebrate the beginning of our lives together.

Yeay!!!! I would live to have the Fodor’s guide. We are going to Thailand for our honeymoon starting on November 8th through the 21st of this year. We are hitting Krabi, Ko Phi Phi and Bangkok. Can’t wait to get there.

This is our honeymoon pick!!! I have been before when I was young and did the whole backpacker thing, but I always said when I fell in love I would want to come back with my soul mate because I think it is one of the most beautiful places in the world. We haven’t totally ruled out other options, but Thailand is def. at the top !!

We would love to visit. I have some family that is from there and they visit every year and come back with great stories and beautiful art. We have been so interested… honeymoon is the perfect excuse to plan a trip you wouldn’t normally splurge on!

YAAAAAAAY! My fiancee and I are planning to head to Thailand for our honeymoon as well! We’re planning on visiting Bangkok, Phuket and Koh Samui! I’m soooooo excited that I catch myself looking up anything and everything Thai all day at work (shhh~ don’t tell the boss man). Even though our honeymoon is 9 months away, I’m already dreaming about the beaches, the people, the food and the scenery!!! It may be possible that I’m more excited about the honeymoon than even the wedding (GASP)! This book would be PERFECT as I plan and prepare for this honeymoon.

I’m Thai but I’ve never experienced Thailand fully. Next year, I plan to take my bf there and go as tourists which won’t consist of spending each and every day of our vacation visiting every single relative I have!
