What are your thoughts on vintage lingerie?
It actually looks a bit blue-green in the picture? Honestly, the idea of purchasing vintage lingerie never entered my mind until reading this post!
@Miss Bruschetta: I am having a hard time finding lingerie I like. And I think vintage lingerie may be a bit too weird for me now that I think about it…know what I mean?
Years ago I worked for an intimate apparel co. that made current day shapewear but started out making corsets in 1861. Part of my position was to give the history of intimates so I have a HUGE appreciation for vintage. I love it on a form and think it’s beautiful, that said, unsure if I could wear what some other woman might have already worn to bed…..However, that is a beautiful garment.
i buy a lot of vintage but i do draw the line at lingerie. i think if i found something that i LOVED i would have to have it dry-cleaned to my satisfaction, haha.
anthropologie has a lot of nice vintage-inspired lingerie…
I think it’s beautiful, feminine, and pretty hot!
I like the look of vintage lingerie, like burlesque or pin-up. I think I’d look for that look and buy new, plus you’re likely to get a better fit that way. But I love the something blue being your lingerie!
I like the color of it. Not sure about wearing it like you said.
@emariel: Hahaha, I agree! It’s odd to wear someone else’s sexay times clothes. I love Anthropologie lingerie. Good idea! I had forgotten about them!

It IS pretty - but I definitely have some hesitation on purchasing vintage lingerie … I can’t explain it …
vintage as in old and possibly already worn? or vintage inspired? cuz…well, there are some things i don’t recycle. lol.
Love love love it!! And I adore the color! And the lace trim! Oh… just everything!
I love it! I’m not a lingerie type so my form of lingerie comes in the form of vintage slips - they’re often super sexy and yet very classy. And yet comfortable enough to wear to bed often - beats a tank and shorts any day! Now I love going to flea markets to hunt them down. 
It’s super cute in color and style. The vintage aspect turns me off just a little. Is there something about it (other than the blue) that you really love and could maybe look for in another piece?
Very pretty! I think vintage lingerie is cool. Not gross at all! Especially if you take it to the cleaner’s before wearing.
Beautiful! I totally forgot I should be looking for lingerie. Guess I’ll add that to the list
