After the ceremony was over, we removed my birdcage veil…
bustled my dress…
made this thing legally binding…
and while our guests and bridal party headed to the cocktail hour…
…we took family photos.
This was the point when I was soooo glad that we did a first look, because family photos take FOREVER, yo!

I loved that our formal pictures were so casual and natural-looking. I may be a bit biased, but these are some of my favorite family photos that I’ve seen in a long time.

@LatteLove: I get that a lot! And yeah, Mr. PP’s brother is the spitting image. The groomsmen were calling him Mr. PP’s twin at the wedding!

Looks awesome!!! I love your “posed” family portraits. I think it’s because they’re outside. I’m going to see about doing mine outside my church….it’s out in the country next to nothing so I’m sure they would make some great photos.
