When Alcohol Happens to Good People

August 25th, 2009 @ 11:35 am by Mrs. Lightning

I’m sorry I’ve been absent this weekend. In my defense, I spent it recovering. I’ll let some pictures do the talking (and please don’t judge - I was outnumbered by 9 lovely bunnies)!

To explain… the tin above was filled with screws, the kind you get at hardware stores. Strung around my next was a sign boldly advertising “R10 a screw”…

and so in order to pay my way, I had to sell my wares. As you can see, boys are very gullible! :)

Oh, and yes—I’m also a French maid with bunny ears. It was a bit of a joke on me because I thought it would be cute for all the girls to go as “maids”. Let’s just say that plan backfired.

Mr Lightning had quite an eventful bachelor party too, including a trip to a strip club (I gave consent because he hadn’t been to one before and I figured now was as good a time as any for him to go). But in a turn of events, he only remembered breaking a sink (weird I know) at the club and was sent home and in bed by 11:30. But then again, while I only had 9 bunnies feeding me cocktails, he had 20 twenty-something boys to contend with.

With this night on the town behind us, we’re full steam ahead for the final countdown and more excited to be getting married than ever!!

Did you participate in any clever games during your bachelorette night out?

I love it. Though, the guy kinda creeps me out. lol. Maybe it’s the thought of random guys “buying my wares.” haha.

Haha Mr Lightning’s story about breaking the sink is somehow “The Hangover”-esque. ;-) You guys look like you had a BLAST and I’m glad you’re back safe and sound!

Those outfits are so so cute! I know for my bachelorette party, I’ve demanded a pimp cup. I’m so madd gangsta for a preppy white girl. :) Maybe I want some bunny ears now too!

The bunny ears are too cute! My girls all wore matching t-shirts, which really was only successful in drawing more attention to us. Although, I seem to remember that attention involved lots of free drinks, so I guess I can’t complain too much.
