Idea Friday

We really appreciate all of the amazing ideas you’ve shared with us to help make Weddingbee better! Recently we’ve implemented the following ideas:

Aliangel suggested that we create a place on the site that allows Weddingbee users to address questions they have about using the site, accounts, etc., without having to email customer service. We recently added the support forum and it’s been a big hit!
Mrs. Cupcake requested that we add links to the original post to all of the projects in the DIY section, because it may be helpful for DIYers to check out the original comments. So, now you can find links to the original post at the end of each DIY.
Naangel55 and budgetbeautiful asked if we could have a new section in the bios where people could share stories about parties, so the “events” category was recently created. Naangel55 also requested a rehearsal dinner section in the bios, so we added that, as well!
Ninthgirl suggested that because many readers are reading Weddingbee at work, it would be helpful if each post that was inappropriate to read at work had a little warning. Now, an editor’s note will be added at the top of any post that may be NSFW.

Keep those ideas for improving Weddingbee coming! We’ve received a number of great ideas recently. Take a look:

LatteLove suggested that the Gallery allow users to narrow down their photo search with multiple tags. For example, a user should be able to look exclusively at photos with “flowers” that are “green”, rather than having to look at all flowers, or all photos tagged “green”. We are working on this feature and will keep you updated!
AnamCara suggested that the boards allow users to search them based off the number of replies. Similarly, Lillindy suggested that the board have a mechanism allowing users to view the comments from newest to oldest, rather than oldest to newest.
Kjpugs requested that users can report spam issues in other ways besides the “flag” tool, because some spam situations are more serious than others and may require extra communication.
Sunbeam suggested that there be a “Bee Map” so that users can see if there are bees in their area!
Kayakgirl73 mentioned that their should be a board for older brides so they can discuss their own unique issues.
