So, following up on an idea I found many months ago, I finally got around to personalizing a special pair of wedding day socks for Mr Lighting. It is probably the easiest and sweetest gift you can give a groom - and perhaps each time he wears them he’ll remember that those were the socks he got married in! 
To make this super easy project I bought some good quality socks with an argyle stitched pattern, used one sheet of think card, and a small length of ribbon.
A few short words graced the emblem that we have used throughout the wedding and it was folded and glued in place around the socks.
And voila! This little gift will accompany another sentimental gift which I’ll be sharing soon.

Such a cute take on this idea! I ordered embroidered socks from Etsy that said the same thing. They were pricey, but worth it ’cause he loved them!

Love the idea! A while back I found these over at etsy: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=23221858 They are socks embroidered with “In Case You Get Cold Feet” and there are several options for both sock and thread color! I had planned on purchasing a pair early on, but now I think I might ’steal’ Miss Lighting’s personalized wrap to add to a pair! Thanks!
