All along, I knew that for me, a wedding “must” was to take a formal picture with each and every one of our  guests.

I don’t want to bombard the hive with all the formal portraits, so here are a few of my favorites:

Aren’t fish-eye lenses great for group shots? Here’s one with the Lovebirds kissing.

Yes, the formal portraits were time consuming and kinda hectic, ‘cuz we had to shuffle people around quickly, but it was totally worth it. This was the only way I could guarantee that I had a picture of each and every one of the wonderful guests at our wedding. When I look back on this day years from now, I’ll clearly remember each and every face that made our wedding so special with their presence.

Are you planning on taking formal portraits with your guests?

These photos turned out great. I love that last shot with the fish-eye lens. One of my favorite photos from our wedding is a pic of the ceremony with the fish-eye, you can see us up at the front and all our guests.

The color of those BM dresses really make your pictures pop! I do plan on doing a group shot with our guests and then some individuals too. The perks of having a smaller wedding.

You explained the exact reason I was so obssessed with getting a proper group shot of everyone at our wedding! It was only four months ago and I’m already loving going back and looking at them!

Great pictures, I’m wondering about the ‘everyone’ shot. I want one, but 175 might be a few too many bodies.
