More Flower News

September 4th, 2009 @ 5:48 pm by Mrs. Chick

I (of course) love the idea of pinning a flower on a dress or making it into a belt, but so far I have been a little skeptical of the typical silk flowers we’ve all seen on Etsy and in the fabric stores. You know that smell when you first walk into Michaels? Not so pleasant, is it?

However, this lady really takes flower pins and belts to a new level. You can just tell she really loves what she does and she puts so much effort into her blog to bring the aesthetics of her work and her personality together. She has specialized vintage French velvet flowers, limited edition! Who does that? And you can tell she just loves what she does! Check out the Emerson Made blog and store.

I don’t know if this is her husband or a male model. Either way, she is a lucky lady! So is that duck.

I’ve seen her flowers around and inspiring is definitely the right word. I and I’d imagine you have been inspired by Jeff Ruddell.

Oh my goodness, those are amazing!!! Too bad I only have two weeks before the big day, so I don’t want to risk ordering one and having it arrive late. :(
